Himinbjørg is a melodic viking metal band from Chambéry, France. It was formed in the spring of 1996 and signed to Adipocere Records in 2003. It released 6 albums: Where Ravens Fly, In the Raven's Shadow, Haunted Shores, Golden Age and Europa.
The name comes from a castle in Scandinavian folklore, where the god Heimdall lives.
