All begins in the early 90's when Aiwass starts to make theirs first songs, but it wasn't until late 1993 when they took their first training Aiwass Pedro Silva(Vocal n’ Bass), Enrique Rodriguez(guitar), Miguel Hernandez(guitar) and Oswaldo Ayala(drums). During this time the band takes an Atmospheric Black Metal style, so in 1994 Adrian Martinez is integrated in the keyboard, this way the band gets to make his first demo which was ready by March 1995 under the name "OPUS 666", which are distributed only on cassette.

Love this band. This is their last work but is not their best imo.
Corvus Corax is a German band from Berlin known for playing medieval music using an abundance of authentic instruments. The band´s name is also the scientific name for the raven. The band was formed in 1989 by Castus Rabensang and Venustus. The band often uses bagpipes as the solo instrument, and their live performances attract attention with the bizarre look of the musicians, which tends to be reminiscent of ancient Greek myths. They have been known to perform half-naked, dressed in unusual clothes, and wearing different ancient-like decorations, often tattooed.

Odious was founded in 1998 in Alexandria, Egypt. After Bassem Fakhri (Vocals and Synths) and Rami Magdi (Drums), put their way to create a new metal feeling with oriental instruments. Shortly, Ramzi Mayas (Bass) and Mohamed Hassan (All Guitars) were added to this line-up. But the bassist left the band for some personal reasons. Then Alfi Hayati has joined this line up. Recently in 2005, Mohamed Lameen has finalized this line-up as a rhythm guitarist. Every member has got his ideas which are gathered to create the feeling that can bound the 5 members into one soul.The band started as an oriental doom metal band, but eventually changed their style to oriental black metal.

Baron Cimetiere and Davmass as guitar and bass players, previously in the brutal death band HUMANITY ECLIPSE. Enlil as guitar player, keys & sequencer, playing metal since 1987 in bands like QUARTERER (1987/1990) & SCHIZO (1990/2005). Tsade as vocalist, who lives a personal black metal way since 1996 in bands like OPUS IN FLAMES (1997/2000) & SECRET DREAM (1999/2002). He starts a solo keyboards project named TOWERS OF SOUL in 2001 also involved in horror movies soundtrack from 2005.

Brujeria is a death metal band hailing from Mexico. Their name comes from the Spanish language, meaning “Witchcraft”. Their extreme attitude involving permanent use of urban militia masks, an old custom of refusing to make live shows, and performing under pseudonyms to portrait themselves as a Latino band of drug lords, have been part of their passport to success. Although they have recently performed live at locations across the United States and Latin America, at the very start of their career they were concealing their identities due to being supposedly wanted by the FBI.

Gorod, formerly known as Gorgasm (not to be confused with the US death metal band) is a band from France, formed in 1997. Initially started as a 3-piece, when it came time to record a demo in 2000, a second guitarist was added. Their debut full-length, Neurotripsicks, via Willowtrip Records was released in 2001.
This is extremely technical death metal at its absolute finest, with the follow up to Neurotripsicks, Gorod have number-crunching spider-fingered death metal sweepstakes with Leading Vision released in 2006 on Willowtip records. These Frenchmen have cleverly spiced their diamond-cutting technicality and are now writing new material as of 2008.

Amorphis is a Finnish metal band started by Jan Rechberger, Tomi Koivusaari and Esa Holopainen in 1990. Amorphis absorbed and incorporated influences from many metal genres, and with time passing their sound evolved dramatically. Initially, the band was a Death Metal act, but with time they have evolved into making music that is more classifiable as Doom Metal with folk influences, and, more recently, Progressive Metal and Hard Rock, utilizing increasingly complex arrangements and a less brutal sound.

NORTHERN WARRIORS#Year: 2009

Drudkh, meaning "wood" in Sanskrit, is an atmospheric black metal band from Ukraine formed by Roman Saenko, the leading member of Hate Forest; Thurios, the leading member of Astrofaes; and Yuriy Sinitsky, of Lucifugum and Definition Sane. Their strongly folk-influenced music focuses on a strong atmosphere with a lot of feeling, and the lyrical contents embrace Slavic mythology, seasons and poetry. Many of the band's lyrics are derived from the works of nineteenth- and twentieth-century Ukrainian poets, especially Taras Shevchenko.

"During all its history, the band followed a 'no photos, no interviews, no website, no gigs' policy, which was nobly accepted by DRUDKH's new label Season of Mist. The absence of any comments or information from DRUDKH's side gave an opening to a few ignorant internet warrior-fans to spread rumors, that the band embraces extreme political views. This is absolutely misleading and a total profanation, since there is nothing in DRUDKH's music or lyrics that would suggest any political outlook. Geïst is an atmospheric black metal band formed in Bielefeld, Germany in 2005. So far they’ve created three full-lengths, Patina (2005), Kainsmal (2006) & Galeere (2009). Their style is partly similar to the old black metal bands, some of their intros for example show similarities to old Ulver. Geïst is influenced by many bands; they just picked out the best parts and put them together to their own interpretation of black metal. It’s very melodic but it will also make you want to bang your head.

Debut.
The Story of „Heathen Foray“ begins in autumn of 2005 in the city of Deutschlandsberg (Styria/Austria). After the collapse of their old band, Jürgen Brüder (Ex-Plethora) and Daniel Koinegg (Ex-Plethora) decided, in a night full of alcohol, to try it again with a new project.

Soon the two guitarists began to compose new material and to arrange new songs. But this time, they wanted to set their main aim to the quality of the songs.

Created in late 2003 by David Parks, the vision of Dark Forest remains to create an epic style of atmospheric metal fuelled by connection with nature. The music and lyrics focus around the promotion of European tradition and history within Canada - the basis of our country and culture. Dark Forest does not adhere to National Socialist ideology. The band, nor any of the ancient symbols utilised by the band, have any ties with these concepts.
