The Axis of Perdition is a Black Metal band heavily influenced by the compositions of Akira Yamaoka, particularly his compositions for the “Silent Hill” series of video games. Their style of music combines classic Black Metal with an underlying Industrial sound to create a sound unlike any other in the Black Metal genre. Many of their songs include samples from movies like “The Matrix” and “Event Horizon.”
