Andrea used to be married to Samoth (Emperor, Zyklon). Samoth played viola, contrabass, and battle drums on the The Winds That Sang of Midgard's Fate release. Andrea has also published several books on paganism. Hagalaz' Runedance is now known as Nebelhexë, which has more electronic and gothic influences, thus stepping away from her old sound.
