Rotten Sound was formed already in 1993. After a slew of underground releases, singles and EPs, the band unleashed their debut album “Under Pressure” in 1997 on Repulse Records and “Drain” followed in 1998. On year 2002 Rotten Sound released the genre-defining Murderworks (Necropolis/Century Media), one of the corner-stones of the modern grind-core and after the release, Rotten Sound found themselves headlining an European tour.

Valoracion personal: Es bastante obvio que la gente no espera un disco asi de este blog... pero lo cierto es que, despues de los discos de Equilibrium o Eluveitie, este es, sin duda, uno de los discos del año. Al menos en su género, este es EL disco del año. He oido muchas bandas grindcore como Soilent Green, Fuck... I'm Dead, Nasum... pero ninguna de ellas me llena tanto como estos Rotten Sound o como los miticos Pig Destroyer. Lo lógico es que no se sepa apreciar del todo este disco en este blog... pero si te gusta un poco el género (y yo me muevo mas o menos por todos)... este disco es una obra de arte.
