Covenant, now known as The Kovenant, was a Norwegian band which has evolved from a melodic symphonic black metal band to industrial metal/harsh industrial on more recent albums. The band was originally known as Covenant, but due to a dispute with the Swedish electro band that shared the same name (see Covenant), it was later changed to The Kovenant.

This is one of the important albums of Black Metal in the 1990's. I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I do. Really good album!!

Morbid Angel is a Florida-based death metal band assembled in 1983. They, along with Death, Possessed, Obituary and a handful of others were crucial in the development of the death metal genre and its standards. UK music magazine Terrorizer ranked two Morbid Angel albums in its ‘Top 40 Greatest Death Metal Albums’, with Altars of Madness appearing at #1. Decibel Magazine also rated guitarist Trey Azagthoth as the #1 “Death Metal Guitarist Ever”. Their songs are complex in arrangement, owing to the considerable technical skills of Trey and drummer Pete Sandoval who also played in the grindcore/death metal band Terrorizer.

Dark Funeral is a Black Metal Band from Sweden. Their music is describable in 5 words: loud, blasphemic and very fast. In contrast to some black metal Bands the melodies are very extensive and complex. Dark Funeral was formed by Ahriman and Blackmoon in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1993. The two were joined by Draugen (drums) and Themgoroth (vocals and bass) before the group began rehearsing and writing material.

This is the third album of Vampiria, which recaptures the dark symphonic metal gender. This time, with the return of Demian (guitar and epic voices) and the incorporation of Andrea (piano and keyboards). And the continuation of Konde (voices), Iván (bass) and Johann V. (drums). The compositions continue in the line of their previous "Among Mortals" (2000) and "Wicked Charm" (2002), but with the absence of feminine lyrical voices, and rotating toward black metal ambients and very symphonic passages. It contains 10 songs and a digipack exclusive presentation designed by Samuel Araya, highlighted by their works to Cradle of Filth. It was recorded, mixed and mastered entirely in "La Nave de Oseberg" studios, except the grand piano takes recorded in "Sound Rec" studios. The executive production, in charge of Carlos Zárate for Icarus Music Records.

Graveland is a Polish black metal band which was formed in 1992 by Rob Darken (born Robert Fudali). Darken, who started Graveland as a solo project, has been inspired by bands such as Bathory, Manilla Road, and In the Woods...[1]. Starting with Thousand Swords, the band took on a powerful folk influence, and more specifically from soundtracks such as the Conan the Barbarian movie soundtrack; as a result, Graveland's later works have sometimes been described as viking metal or pagan metal. The lyrics of Graveland are strongly inspired by nature, paganism and nationalism.

Agathodaimon was formed in September 1995 by Sathonys (guitar) and Matthias Rodig (drums). After placing some ads in several music magazines, they soon found the right band mates in Vlad (vocals, keys) and Marko T. (bass). After several rehearsals, it was obvious that a second guitar player would benefit the sound of Agathodaimon. After a few months, Hyperion joined the band.

Mithotyn was a Viking Metal band hailing from Sweden.
Formed in 1993, Mithotyn did not release an album until 1997. Much of the material featured on the three albums of their career was previously composed or featured on one of the previous demos. In 1997, the group released two albums, In The Sign Of The Ravens followed by King Of The Distant Forest. It was a mixture of a black metal with catchy heavy metal riffs, harsh vocals and many folk influences. After the two years the group released its last album - Gathered Around The Oaken Table (1999) incorporating more clean choruses along with death grunts.

Recommended.
Thurisaz began as a quartet in May 1997, with Peter on guitar and grunts, Mattias on guitar and screams, Pepijn on drums and Lars on bass. In 1999 they were joined by Kobe on synths, an event that defined the sound of Thurisaz in the stages to come. After several demo's, the band released it's first full-album “Scent of a Dream” in 2004. The album sums up the best Thurisaz has to offer: very variated, high standard avantgarde doom-metal with lots of emotion and depth. The reviews were really amazing and no one could really understand why this band hadn't been signed yet.
I have only one word for this album: BEAUTIFUL!

The Thuringian band Gernotshagen was founded by members of the bands "Grafen von Gleichen" and "Rocksoldiers" in 1999.

Their lyrics mainly focus on myths and legends concerning their home region around the Wallenburg and the town of Trusetal. The historical context of the band's name "Gernotshagen" is that there was an ancient settlement beneath the "Wallenburger Turm", which has been the beginning of the town of Trusetal.

This upload is for DamosFog who discovered another great band as the good investigator and True woman of steel she is ^^.

WYDION started to take shape back at 1995, when three classmates (Daniel, Rúben and Gonçalo) plus Daniel's brother Vitor, found that they shared the same interest for music and had some basic experience with some kind of instrument (or vocals) and the will to form a band.
